International airport — Hi-Raise

International airport " Kharkov " is one of the leading airports in Ukraine which sends and receives flights from Ukrainian cities, the CIS countries, Europe and Middle East.

This airport operates as transfrontier logistical center, therefore, the decision on its reconstruction and modernization was made by the Cabinet of Ukraine.

In the second quarter 2008, draft design of reconstruction of airport facilities was approved at the session of Kharkov Town-planning Board. Within the framework of the project, reconstruction of airport land side with construction of the first passenger terminal has been performed .

The following is provided on airport land side: front entrances to the passenger terminal, parking place for 381 cars, buses and fixed-route taxi parking ground.

According to the approved project, total area of building is 115,25 thousand sq.m.

Works of airport land side reconstruction were performed by the specialists of the company "Hi-raise Constructions".

One of the primary scope of the airport reconstruction is to increase a role of the city of Kharkov in the system of the European air corridors and its full value as transfrontier logistical center.
